Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I get to Flagstaff from the Phoenix Airport?

A: The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport offers multiple shuttle services to Flagstaff and the Northern Arizona University campus. Our most trusted shuttle service is Groome Transportation, which offers a $59 (one-way) shuttle from Phoenix to Flagstaff. You can schedule your shuttle by calling (928) 350-8466 or by visiting their website. Please request that your camper be dropped off and picked up at Mountain View Hall on the NAU campus.

Q: What time does camp start on the 12th?

A: We will begin check-in at 11am on the morning of July 12th. However, we understand that travel times will vary, with campers arriving earlier or later than this time. It is important that you communicate your travel plans with our camp director, Megan Ping.

Q: What time does camp end on the 18th?

A: We aim to have every camper checked-out by 10am on the morning of July 18th. Again, with varying travel plans it is most important that you communicate your departure times with our camp director, Megan Ping.

Q: Do I need to have a roommate request?

A: No! We have plenty of campers that come to Project Gold solo and would love to room with you. A lot of thought goes into our roommate assignment process so that we can ensure the best possible experience for every camper.
